Basic Search does not find John 1:1 when it is in the title of a Note

the title to this post explains the problem.

Search will find John 1:1 when it is in the content of a note, but not when it is in the Title (not the title of the Note file) of a specific note it will not find it.

waited 12 minutes and re-searched and it does not show up in My Content. Also tried closing the note file and reopening it, but no success.

But if i enter John 1:1 inside one of the notes, it will find it after several minutes.

Shouldn't L4 find it in the note title? i would guess that would be the first place to look.

Am i doing something wrong? i am using 4.2RC2, does this happen in 4.1?

Looks like a bug to me. I'd report it in the PC Beta forum, even though it's in a release candidate, as it's more likely to be seen before 4.2 ships. Probably will be postponed at this point anyway, since it isn't a crashing bug. But if it's something trivial and not very risky to fix they might do it.

From File, manually typed the title in.

It was still broke as of a couple of minutes ago. But noticed that i had not added the dreaded space after John 1:1. Once i did that and waited a few minutes, L4's search found it. Aaarg..... i know that Bible links require a space or linefeed after the text to turn it into a link to have it work as a link. But i did not think that the text in the title had to be a link for Search to find it. Anyway, mystery solved.

If it was text then "John 1:1" would find it! But <John 1:1> will only find hyperlinked passages.
