I am tagging resources with a view to pruning my collections. I cannot select / tag resources from the collections (!) so need to find the same resources in the library.
I do not want to tag the whole collection so simply copying the collection criteria to the library will not work.
I am modifying the search term in the library .. lots! But I am getting irritated with the 'search as you type approach'. As soon as I start to type, the library tries to find the reources ... and the search box loses the focus! Author:Lloyd-Jones is becoming Author:L and the remainder of my typing is ignored. At the moment, I have to click on the search box, go to the end of the term and carry on typing ... quickly!
Is there a way of
- Disabling the search as you type?
- Setting tags from the collection?
- changing the szr of the Library search input box ... to only shows a few characters for the term.
