With only four days left until the start of the 12 days, I find that I'm starting to go to bed with visions of sugar plums new resources dancing in my head.
I wonder what the first will be...
have they said they're going to do a 12 days? Or was Black Friday instead of it?
My question was premature, have just found the website in another post and subscribed[:)]
It's on.
Day 0 – Bible Study Magazine and The Unexpected Adventure
I see today is day 0 - odd way to start!
Giving away print copies on a Logos web site. What is this world coming to?
Not to mention, "giving away" the book, while at the same time raising the price of the magazine $5.00... [:^)]

Yeah, that's how I feel about it too: [:^)] [*-)] [8-)]

It worked last year. [6]
Not problem. Shipping is only $12.95. If you buy two before this offer expires you also get a free download of the Abridged Brown-Driver-Briggs Lexicon. (OK, just in jest.)
Be aware that if you don't un-check the "Auto-Renew" box. Your card can be charged again next year...without asking your permission.[^o)]
Do I need to tell you that I have chosen to pass on this Most Generous Offer?[G]
[8] And A Partridge In A Pear Tree [8]

Point taken...If you are comfortable with that arrangement...buy the Rag...Er, I mean Mag. And leave Auto-Renew checked. You have my blessings. [ip]
Sorry, No evergreen available...Palm trees will have to do.[G]
[8] Pa Rum Pum Pum Pum [8]

Some people's cleaning rags can be someone else's best clothes.
It's computer counting -- 0-11. [;)] Probably not.

They made a Facebook post earlier today saying that they were kicking off a day early - presumably they would rather go 0-12 than 1-13 (especially when it's called 12 days of Logos) [:#]
Whatever dude as long as they don't start with a x-mas carol.
Deck the Halls with Logos Software.Fa-la-la la-la la-la
[6]
There should be eight la's, George!

Sorry about that. La !
In the original language, it was actually "Fala Lala La Lala La La" It changes the whole meaning of the phrase. The serious student will see that in another movement of the work, A similar but quite unique line is phrased "Falala Lalala La La La". I may do next weeks sermon on these two passages.[^o)]

Yes, it originated in South Grundia. The language is known as Grundiké. [H]
I detect a composite work of two sources, the 'fa' source and the 'la' source, which have been carelessly redacted by a later scribe.

Yes, but the Majority Text...
Day One
Probably the same two scribes R. H. Charles (A Critical and Exegetical Commentary on the Revelation of St John) finds responsible for the Apocalypse. [;)]

I would say having the extra day "0" is just because the Marketing VP could not help himself. [:P] He just LOVES to market things.
But I am sure, if you asked him,, he would explain it was a live technical test-run. If one also purchases some Logos merchandise along with it the combined shipping would not make the purchase seem too bad. So go ahead and grab the hat & mug you have been wishing for! And who knows if everyone who buys Day 1 doesn't get a special discount coupon towards a new purchase? (Just dreaming here. I should have brought it up yesterday.)
The first offering OT dictionaries from IVP is very attractive to myself. I believe I will stare at it longingly in Mrs. Black's presence to see if it jogs her sympathies.
FWIW, Thomas, I have these 2 and find that I get good use out of them.
I found this verse that may help:
"Suffer your husband to gather Logos resources, and forbid him not"
Hezekiah 17:36
That was funny! My deceased father was a pastor and used that one occasionally. It works really well with those unfamiliar with the O.T. prophets.

Funny, I always thought that verse was in Second Heresies 20:10

Not unlike the Gospels, they tend to be the same narrative from different perspectives.
Haven't you heard of the new prospect the missionary encountered who wanted to know why Jesus had to be born, die and resurrect 4x before the disciples got busy in Acts?

I checked my pre-pub purchase price and found that the 12 Day sale price is a bargain. Only $5 more than the pre-pub price back in Feb.

Even though I bought this one in Pre-Pub I am happy to see this offered. It is a GOOD title, worth it's price, and useful to every Bible student. The savings is real too. Way to go, Logos. [Y]
If you do then please post them - we might need some cheer after the 12 days are over and we ran out of funds (or we if could not get permission from our versions of MRS [or MR as needed ])
Does anyone know if we have to order these through the website to get the deal, or can we call our sales person and still get them?
I believe that your salesperson should be able to do the same thing.
