Bug: Book update on upgrade to 1.5
I'm not sure what the expected behaviour is with updating books having upgraded the app to 1.5 but here's what happened for me:
On initially loading 1.5 the home screen had an offline resources section with 59 book updates available (I suspect this was every book I had downloaded); pressing this brought up a dialog to update books, but there were no book titles/icons, just lots of rows with 'no cover' image place holders. I closed that dialog without doing anything, and the book update section disappeared from the home screen. Tried rebooting the app and all downloaded books are gone.
What was supposed to happen?

Until Jon mentioned it here, it didn't occur to me to check the Home screen. I started manually re-downloading each book manually.
Logos - You may want to make it clearer in your release notes. In my experience, the (iPad) app usually opens to the last opened book, bypassing the Home screen.
Also, I'm not seeing the speed improvement of the book download. It is now churning through 460+ books to be updated, and it's as slow as ever before. I'm afraid it will fall asleep when I go to bed tonight.

I have 2260 resources to download, and the program has let me know 4 or 5 could not be downloaded.

Downloading books takes system resources that can slow everything down. Once the books have finished downloading, you should notice an improvement.
