Ignoring the base packages for a moment...

The other things that are currently on sale... are they often on sale? Is the 'sale' like the sorts or sales in Amazon where a book is always on sale (or very often on sale), or are the things that are on sale on sale just for December?

To take a specific example, the ESV Study Bible (Notes only) is $40 instead of $50. Is it normally $40 or $50?

Those sale prices that show up on the product description page are Logos's "always on sale" prices, which are often (usually) lower than the retail price would be for the equivalent product in print, in spite of the fact that it can be more work to bring a product out in Logos format with all its tagging to link to other Logos resources than it is to print it.

They do sometimes run additional specials where you need a coupon code to get the lower price. They will advertise those coupon codes privately by email to select groups of users (based on purchase history) or via the Facegroup fan page (which anyone can join, if they have a Facebook account or are willing to create one), or via special offer subscriptions which you can sign up for in your Logos Account page on their website, or via the blog (which posts you can subscribe to via RSS or on your Home Page in Logos). Also, if you ask a sales rep at any time whether there's a special price available on a particular item you want, they can offer it to you, whether it's on a coupon sale or not, even if you don't happen to know the coupon code. The more you buy at a time (and over the history of your time of being a Logos customer), the better deals you'll get, I think. However I only have my own empirical evidence on that.
