scrolling lag

Is there something going on with my computer is this a general problem?  Scrolling through text (even when it is one text) on my imac iMac (I Core i3, 3.2 ghz, 4gb memory, ATI Radeon HD 5670 512 video ram) is terrible.  It lags behind, stopping altogether at times.

 

Any suggestions?

Scrolling has been an ongoing issue with the Mac version. It has improved quite a bit in resources, though still isn't as smooth as it should be, especially if you have linked resources, etc.
