I think I know the answer but I'm going to ask anyway. Is there a way to get the volumes separately? I just want Romans at the moment.
I think I know the answer
This is one of the few sets that hasn't been broken up yet for individual sale. Maybe someone from Logos could let us know if/when this might happen.
Logos has made a lot of progress on making individual commentaries available but they sure are pricey that way.
Is there a way to get the volumes separately?
Only the older volumes.
I just want Romans at the moment.
Good choice. The older volume by Leon Morris is on pre-pub, but the current volume by Douglas Moo is only available as part of the set.
The only ones available for single sale are older versions, about a handful. One happens to be this Romans commentary by John Murray.
Thanks Dan. I'm actually looking for the volume by Moo.

That's what I figured. Just didn't want to leave stones unturned. It really is a shame they aren't individually available. I bit the bullet last year and bought the set, and it is one of my top reference sets. Love it, but you do have to fork over a lot. I couldn't have done that this year.

Oops. Dan is correct. Murray wrote the older Romans volume. Morris wrote the older volume on Thessalonians and the current one on John in the NIC and the current volume on Romans in the Pillar series.

Jack, you sure do know your stuff! Btw, how do you like Morris' Romans volume in Pillar?
Jack, you sure do know your stuff!
Just willing to take the time to research (web page on pre-pubs, my library on the others) to avoid making another error.

I recently started a small group study of Romans in my home. Give me a couple of weeks and I will try to remember your question. I usually diagram the sentences, do some word study, and then consult commentaries, but after Moo I can't tell you who is most useful.
