Where can I find information about the periodic upgrades that occur when Logos 4 is opened and my computer is online? I watch the upgrade install, but have no idea what it is that is being upgraded.
http://wiki.logos.com/Logos_4_Release_Notes has the list of releases; clicking on the 'gold' one is probably the one you want.
http://wiki.logos.com/Logos_4.2 is the latest.
In addition you can check the wiki for resources that may have updated here: http://wiki.logos.com/Resource_Update_History
In 4.2 you can check your Library for resource updates. Be sure your Library is displayed in spreadsheet or column view (not book cover view), right click on a column heading and select "Last Update." That will add a new column to your view. At first nothing will show as updated, but as subsequent updates are made the column will populate with information. You can sort on that column to see the most recent updates.
Thank you, Denise. That's exactly what I was trying to locate.
Thanks to you also, Mark.
David ... one thing you might do is add the links (updates, resources, etc) to your Favorites. If you need help: http://wiki.logos.com/Favorites#Adding_Internet_links_to_Favorites Then you're just a click away, when you see your L4 updating.
Mark,
I have 4.2 but do not see the last updated field in the spreadsheet view. Do I have to add that? If so, how? Thank you and Lord bless!
I placed the "Release_Notes" URL you supplied, along with the "Resource_Update_History" URL supplied by Mark in my IE Favorites, but your suggestion to place it in the Favorites of LOGOS itself is a far better choice.
Now why didn't I think of that!!??? Thanks so much, Denise.
Scott, I explain how to do that in my original posting. Yes, you do have to add it to your list of displayed fields.
Thanks! Silly me! I should have read your original post closer. [:)]
