Sync via USB

Forgive me if someone's already asked this and been answered, but I can't find it.

Is it possible to sync between two computers via USB instead of online? I have internet at home but not at the church, and I brought the church computer home to install L4 on it. Now, I'm taking it back to the office. I want to be able to sync notes and such from working at home on my laptop with the computer in the office.

Any suggestions?

Not by syncing through Logos Software.

you can sync directory contents using Windows 7 Professional and above using the "sync center". It's complex and frankly wouldn't help you unless you're a computer nerd. :-)

L4 will sync notes and so forth automatically assuming you have kept the default settings; but it will do so through the internet.

If both locations have internet than your problem is solved. If they don't, than just periodically plan on bringing your non-internet computer into a location it can connect and sync up.

Try this:-

backup your \Documents folder to an external device eg. USB stick.
move the Church \Documents\{random name}** folders to a safe place!
replace them with the same folders** from your USB stick

** except for the backup, DO NOT delete or copy the \Documents folder because the {random name} folder has to remain as is.

It works with the Multiple Computer install so I would think it would work for this purpose as well.
