During the install of today's beta I received an error that the install could not find Logos4.msi in the path
c:\users\clinton\appdata\local\logos4 even though the file was there. It gave me the option of entering a new path
I tried copying the install file from the above location to a different one then pointing the installer there. That just gave the same message.
I cancelled that using the cancel button then received a not that "The older version of Logos Bible Software 4 cannot be removed. Conact your technical support group.
I clicked OK then received a note that the install had failed.
I then started Logos4 and the home page and the help about both show that I am at 4.2a beta 2.
I did a check for updates and it does not find anything.
Note that during yesterday's install of beta 1, I had the problem of the Avast trojan id and the install failed. I turned of the AV and did a repair which had seemed to work.
Everything seems fine operationally except the myriad of warnings. I hope that it doesn't mean that "the end is near". Well, I've repented if it is so either way I should be good to go.
