Indexing Broken in L4M 4.2a Beta - Please Help
I've been indexing and reindexing since last night. It seemed to have finished about 1pm today (EST). When I opened Logos to do some work, it started indexing again.
I took a quick pick at the logs and it seems like it isn't completing. Any help?

Watching the logger live, I've seen these errors pop up if this helps someone help me...

The logs posted in this thread reveal nothing out of the ordinary. They're just showing progress moving from zero percent complete (in the first post) to about 29% complete in the one posted at 11 AM PST.

These logs show that you've indexed roughly 30% of your resources in under an hour. Depending on your hardware, that's not out of the ordinary.
Note that, if you halt indexing before it completes (this is different than pausing it via the menu), it'll start over from the beginning the next time.

These messages are informational and don't indicate a problem with indexing but instead an issue with the reference tag in the resource. The indexer is behaving properly by ignoring those references.

Next time you get to a place where you think it has completed, post your logs before you re-open Logos 4 (which might kick off the indexer and blow away the log that includes the problem).

Thats just it... It has been uninterrupted each time. It has 'quit' 3 different times.

At any rate... I am doing as you said and letting it run through yet again. Logos is closed, the indexer is running. When it stops, I'll grab a fresh set of logs (before opening Logos) and post back.

I just wanted to update everyone that this is resolved for me. I deleted EVERYTHING and re-downloaded and installed. Whatever resource was causing the issue went away and I got a fully completed index this morning.

I just realized that this version of the software was upgraded to Beta 2 so that could have been the cause as well. Oh well, its fixed. I'm happy. Working again.

Woo hoo! Glad you are up and running. In case you have not done so already, I suggest you say no to automatic downloads. This lets you get them when you type update now in the command box, but lets you decide when it is best to do so.
