Hello,
What do you think of a scroll bar for pop up windows, such as a (mouse hovered) scripture verse. So that you could read all of the verse or chapter in the pop up rather than opening up or switching to a new tab?
Thanks !
The (not so funny) thing is that Logos creates scrollable pop-ups for some of its own pop-ups (at least it does in L3), but the notes the user creates don't have this ability. Not sure about L4 notes since I never use them. Perhaps the one thing that would turn me from being a disgruntled Logos user to a happy and upbeat Logos user is if they would add scrollable notes to L3. I realize that L3 was "put to bed", so to speak--but absent this functionality, I will never be fully on board as a "satisfied" Logos customer. I know L4 will never be what L3 is...I've gotten accustomed to that. But that is also part of what I resent about L4...it shut to door on the few additional tweaks that L3 needs to have to be exactly what I need. L4 will never have that functionality...and it has shut the door on L3 having it. That, in a nutshell, is the explanation for my occasionally ornery mood.
Anyway, scrollable pop-ups should be a no-brainer, and even though I want them in L3 and won't use them in L4, I still believe they should be there and think that other users of L4 should have access to this requisite functionality.
Actually there is already a suggestion for this on User Voice http://logos.uservoice.com/forums/42823-logos-bible-software-4/suggestions/1290473-scroll-bars-for-pop-ups?ref=title although there are just three little votes for it so far. Go over and cast a few votes for it.
Agreed that all the text of pop-ups should be accessible within the pop-up window.
