I think I remember seeing a post before saying that you were thinking of not implementing shortcut keys in notes. As one who uses shortcut keys a lot to increase my workflow having to go to the trackpad and move up to the bold or italic button is a bit of an inconvenience.
I'm not asking for these to be implemented straight away but if the decision has been to not implement them could this be looked at again
