Fix one thing, break another.

I know you guys are working hard and there is progress but for a supposed product released for mass consumption this thing is nowhere near stable or complete. All of sudden in the latest release I can no longer use the "find in this pane" function when wanting to search for specific references in the BDAG. (this is the only resource I used this in and the only one I tried and failed with yesterday.) Why are some things fixed only to break others and why are we still experiencing numerous unexplained crashes? I am wanting to believe this will become the product it is promised to be and my investment has not been in vain.

If you want stable, then joining the Beta testing channel, as you have apparently done, is not the best path for you.  To work with the most stable release, you need to stay with the Gold release channel.  See here for information http://community.logos.com/forums/t/26681.aspx

This is a known bug. The Dev Team is aware of it and working on a fix.

As a workaround, you can use the regular search feature with search all open resources.

Why are some things fixed only to break others

That is the nature of software development.
