Search Question

I noticed  new icon in the corner my search window that looks like an orange target:

     

What does this target symbol mean?  Is it just an attempt to add color to the search icon or does it have other significance.  I do not remember seeing it before - maybe I just missed it.

It's because you have "send searches here" ticked on that menu. It means that when you run a search from a right click menu or command bar, it won't open a new search pane, but it will utilize this existing pane.

This must be a default setting - I certainly did not check it today.  I probably did check it on some search window at some time in the past.
