Crash before I could "do" anything

[Microsoft "error reporting" start sending at 12:51 pm EDT ... ends at  12:58   pm. EDT -- I have no idea why these should take so long?]

This time I did not want to "influence" the software's behaviour in any way.

I simply let it load.

It (correctly) appeared slightly "minimized" but residing in the centre of the screen (as planned and anticipated).

But almost as soon as it had loaded I received the Microsoft Error crash message.

NOTE: I had not "pushed any buttons" etc

As soon as error report is sent I will attach log.

    Same error as your other crashes in Beta 8. Dev is reviewing log file.
