Crash On Open after Install of B8

Now every time I open B8 it crashes and fails to start.

I downloaded and installed the beta 8 update and then waited a while. Closed the program as it was downloaded updates. Decided to reopen while it is still installing the updated files (just under 50% of 1.7 GB). But as it says displays the initial screen it gets a crash message and checks for problems but never asks me to close.

How can I get B9? I cannot open B8.

Will it fix this problem?

OK read about Ctrl+Shift when opening Logos in another thread and did it which installed B9. However, upon opening it after the install (where it automatically opens) it crashed again. Here is the log.

The bug was partially caused by a bad message on the logos.com servers, which has now been removed. The home page should automatically refresh at midnight (and create a version that doesn't crash), so you should be able to return to using the home page tomorrow (before Beta 10).
