when you have BWS open and have Grammatical Relationships expanded, then click on Settings and change it, L4 keeps the drop down Settings menu open and it is kept on top and detached from the Grammatical Relationships bar. So when scrolling it continues to appear over whatever part of the screen as you scroll.

P.S. you can make it disappear by clicking on the Grammatical Relationships bar or clicking the scroll bar. But when using the mouse wheel, it stays fixed on the screen as you scroll.
