Is it possible to bring all my highlighted resource text from Logos 3 into Logos 4?
It is supposed to work. Type "Import Highlighting" in the L4 Command Bar and hit Enter.

I wouldn't say they are tricks. One place you can go to learn more about Logos is the wiki. Steve Clark, a regular here in the forums, has created a fine table of contents that can point you to pages you might want to explore: http://wiki.logos.com/Table_of_Contents__
There's a lot to learn about the interface and the tools Logos 4 has available The best video turtorials have been created by Forum MVP Mark Barnes and are listed at the top of this wiki entry: http://wiki.logos.com/ They are Tutorials 1-14. When you get to his hosting site you'll find other Logos 4 videos as well. A longer list of videos is here: http://wiki.logos.com/Logos_4_Video_Tutorials It includes the Logos official videos from the Logos web site, and other user contributed videos. Personally I prefer Mark Barnes' because they are more up-to-date and well thought out.
To learn more about the commands in Logos (like the one you used), look at: http://wiki.logos.com/Logos_4_Commands You'll notice the Import Commands are not listed on this page but many others are.
Spend some time on the Forums and you'll learn new things as I seem to do almost daily. And don't be afraid to ask questions.

what and where is the l4 command bar
The L4 command bar "or Logos 4 command bar" was an area at the top left of the screen into which we could type commands - similar to the outlined area shown below in Logos 9 - the current release.
I note this thread is over 10 years old - was there a particular reason for your interest?
