Leslie Newbigin

Has Logos considered a Leslie Newbigin collection?

Yes, please. I had the privilege of attending a series of lectures and group tutorials that he gave at the University of Glasgow in 1988, when I was doing my B.D. He was wonderful. I still have his lecture notes as well as a signed copy of his little book Foolishness to the Greeks (SPCK, 1986). [:)]

Fourthed. Even when you don't agree, he is a pivotal 20th century figure in missions and the gospel.

Seriously, Logos is missing many of the great missional books and thinkers. Newbigin is a must!

Any news on the Newbigin front? :-)

All quiet on the western Newbigin front.

Seriously, we need Newbigin!
At least The Gospel in a Pluralist Society (Eerdmans, 1989) , but preferably a collection.

Bump!
Once again, Amazon is ahead of you guys on this. They've got Kindle editions of 7 of his books: http://www.amazon.com/Lesslie-Newbigin/e/B001JSA0P2/ref=ntt_athr_dp_pel_1
I'm getting frustrated at having to keep back from buying Kindle books that I think might/should eventually come out in Logos format. This is foolishness to the geeks!

Agreed, Rosie.
Up until now, I've resisted buying Kindle books, partly for the simplicity of having only one place to search. But I wil have to give in soon.
Not only are we unable to get most of the newer titles in Logos (as well as important older ones like Newbigin), but sometimes the price difference is enormous.
Summa Theologica in Logos is 'discounted' to $199.95, whereas in Kindle it is $0.99.

We need to get this one going. Long overdue. Give this some love, folks!

I have a couple of Bishop LN's thoughtful works and would love to go digital with Logos.
