Is there some good way to make the Text Comparison follow the text you are studying?
Thanks
It should do so automatically. If not, click on it's resource menu (the orange icon in the top left of its panel), and change the link set.
thanks mark for the reply and sorry i didn't make my self clear. so i will try again. if the text comparison is 1cor 11:1 and if read down and not use it again until i get to verse 10 how do i get it to jump from verse 1 to verse 10?
If you scroll in your Bible, it should move automatically. If you don't need to scroll, and just want to look at a single verse that's already on the screen you need to:
If you want to move the text comparison tool in increments you can set up a bible to move verse by verse as scrolling can be imprecise sometimes.
1) Make certain your location bar is showing
2) Set the setting on the location bar to Verse
3) then use the arrows to advance verse by verse through the text the Comparison tool should follow. (I had to fiddle a little to make it work)
Going through the text this way isn't always the best way to do things. If you want to jump from verse 1 to 10 go to the reference box in the Bible and type 10 and hit enter, it will jump forward to verse 10 of that chapter, taking the text comparison with it.
Kevin I like this
Thanks everyone for the help

I just finally got this to work. It seems it only goes one verse per view in the text comparison, as opposed to being able to sync scrolling between multiple columns. Right?I've just now gotten it working with BHS in one column and the Biblical Qumran scrolls and LXX following (but only single verse at a time, not the whole text). Is there a way to synch columns, or is this just the way the comparison works? -JQ
