Has anyone noticed any measurable upgrade in Logos performance switching from Leopard to Snow Leopard? I am planning on upgrading my RAM soon, but may hold off on 10.6 since nothing is "broken" and in need of a fix.
Any thoughts?
Thanks!
For Mac OS X, do recommend upgrading from Leopard to Snow Leopard - noticeably faster and increases free space - upgraded to Snow Leopard weeks before initial Logos 4 Mac alpha release attempt. Remember Internet Explorer windows in WIndows virtual machine rendering faster after Snow Leopard upgrade (on a 20" iMac with 2.0 GHz Core 2 Duo)
By the way, Mac Life has 10 reasons not to upgrade => http://www.maclife.com/article/feature/10_reasons_not_upgrade_snow_leopard_right_away includes link to a Wiki with application compatibility => http://snowleopard.wikidot.com/ (some things not work well in Snow Leopard, e.g. Logos for Mac 1.2 - need 1.2.1 or 1.2.2)
