NICOT/NICNT bundle for $1185.95. Too bad I can't afford it. I wish well those who can. Great series which I am sure will serve you well. I have a number of the printed copies.

That is probably as close to the Pre-Pub Price (1007.95 for me) we will ever see.

If anyone is staring at it, not knowing what to do: don't forget the Payment Plan.

Don't forget I'm married, and want to stay that way :-)
Good choice. If I had to choose I would choose my wife. I picked up the set for the same price on black friday and used the payment plan. Looking forward to using it regularly.
If I could be certain that buying it would repel wives, I might just buy 2 of them. [:P]

That's the same price I was quoted for Black Friday. I guess that is as low as we're going to see.
I had to cancel my prepub order (when it was less than $1000) and pass on Black Friday. Big decision today on whether to take the plunge.
It's a great price, but since I already have it I can breathe a sigh of relief that these 12 days of Logos didn't cost me anything and I didn't miss out on any bargains.
I'd buy this, but I don't think my wife would like me afterwards [:)]

Marital bliss is more important than commentary sets. I have a wife whose value is above rubies ( Proverbs 31:10) who instructed me on Black Friday to invest in Hermeneia and the Word Biblical Commentary. In the end, having both of these other sets probably serves me better, but I sure wish I had some of the volumes of this series. I have half a dozen of some of its best installments on my shelf at home but wish I had them electronically.
ICC vs NICOT/NICNT
Any recommendations, please?
I was hoping one day to get the ICC, but after reading about NICOT/NICNT (and at this price)...

Here is an old forum post discussing the set http://community.logos.com/forums/p/72/416.aspx
Thirty of them appear within the top two ratings on http://bestcommentaries.com/best.aspx
The current price is great for those who were not able to pick them up in PrePub.
These are two good series overall. Both have volumes worth having. ICC, is the standard though some of the volumes need major updates to incorporate newer scholarship (this is true of NICOT/NICNT and any other series too). I don't personally own many volumes in the ICC, but appreciate the ones which I have.
The NICOT/NICNT series has some of my favorite individual volumes in it. If the choice is either/or, I personally would go with this one, because there is much that I like here, but I don't think you would have Buyer's regret either way.
This is a great price- but as with the pre-pub- I'm unemployed again- will hope it appears later on down the road at a good price as well.
Get it while you can! [Y] [B]
I like most of the commentaries on this list, but it isn't a very useful comparison as it just rates top reviews and not the type of commentary in each category. For example, there are a number of Tyndale and BST volumes that are rated in the top two categories for various books. I use a number of these volumes, and agree that they are really valuable, but I know that I am not getting the critical detail from them that I am getting from WBC or ICC, as reflected in the price of each series.
Thanks for your suggestions. I just completed my order for NICOT/NICNT.
