Bible Reading Plan

In Libronix we were able to design our own Bible reading plans by setting the number of chapters, verse etc which suited us. Another boundary we had the option of putting in was to choose whether or not we wanted the particular reading to finish at the chapter end or the pericope boundary.
Is there any way of doing a similar thing with Logos 4?

You can create custom ranges for your reading plan, which may be specific books, chapters, or verses, or specific pages if you're reading a non-Bible resource. When creating a new plan, click on the "All Passages" drop-down, click into the New reference range field to enter the custom range. You can also indicate a certain number of verses for the length of the plan by clicking on the "in one year" drop-down. You'll find Help for this feature by pressing F1 when a Reading Plan document is open. You can also find an online video tutorial here: http://www.logos.com/videos/pc.
The preferences to end readings at a Pericope or Chapter boundary aren't available in Logos 4. It will prefer the largest unit that will fit.

Thanks for that Melissa.
I realised I could do so much, but it's the pericope and paragraph boundaries that we don't have the same scope as Libronix. It's particularly frustrating in the Psalms where one's reading finishes 1 or 2 verses before the break 'Selah' or a couple of verse before the end of a chapter!
Anyway, it's better than not having a plan at all.

It should avoid breaking in the middle like that. How is your reading plan set up so I can duplicate it?

I'm sorry--I meant what are the details of your plan so I can try to reproduce the problem. When you open your Reading Plan document, what Bible is selected, what is the range (All Passages or other), the frequency, starting date, and when is it scheduled to finish?

I've placed an attachment on the above comment. It will open in MS Word.

Thank you. I must have been writing my post while you were posting the document. I'll take a look at it
