BUG: Bellingham, we have a problem

L4 Win had been running in the background for several hours (XP Pro under Parallels 5). I switched there and opened a reading plan layout when I received a Windows error message that Logos needed to close. Logs enclosed.

I failed to note in the previous post that the crash occurred when switching to the Home Page. I now remember that detail because it happened again.
Perhaps I am being punished for using the Windows version [:D]

Ah, but they were condemning someone else (Job) while I am condemning myself [8-|]. It is right there in 2 Hezekiah 12:6—Thou shalt not use Windows when a viable Mac alternative is available. [8-|] (It's humor, not blasphemy).

Which translation are you using? Mine says "Linux" rather than "Mac." As there is not a viable Linux alternative we must then, based upon the language of the commandment, use the Windows one. [6]

Thank you, Melissa. You are a jewel, and a genuine one at that.

I had typed a rejoinder, but rather than lose the real purpose of this thread, I think I will stop here.

It appears to be the same error upon loading the home page that will be fixed in Beta 3.

Good to hear. It has not happened since the last reported crash. In fact, I had forgotten about it this morning during several trips to the Home Page.

And mine says, "Thou shalt not use a MAC."

Obviously a copyist error from the early 21st Century.

A text-critical analysis determines that "not use a MAC": is the original reading. It was changed for computerological reasons.

I see a never-ending spiral developing here. [8-|] I am not certain that the above was the result of an unbiased analysis of the available evidence.
