Suggestion: Collections and Cited By Tool

Currently whenever one creates a new collection it is added by default to the list of checked collections in the Cited By Tool. This means the next time one opens the tool, even after having spent time to pare down the open collections already, he/she has to do it again. I suggest that the default be not to check newly created collections in Cited By especially (or even only) when there are other unchecked collections in that tool.

Further to that, why not have an option on the Collection tool to include/exclude from Cited By?

BTW one user has over 120 mytag's to scroll through.

One reason not to do that would be that it would make it harder to change the Cited By list of collections on the fly. I do that depending on what I am looking for. I probably have 100 or more collections. I never want more than a few at a time so I'd default to unchecked as being the best for my situation.

There are some you would never want to include eg. All But Bibles, Unnamed Collection, bible collections, grammar collections. Half of my collections would be excluded[:O]

I frankly find the Cited by tool to be of little use.  The old Reference Browser of L3 was much more useful.

For once I can say that I agree with you George. (OK, it's not the first time.) I don't use Cited By much.
