Competitors iOS app
I think I'm going to have a new Bible Study Software package soon after seeing what Logos only Mac competitor is doing with their iOS application. No cloud with them, all modules sync to the device for full bible study implementation on your mobile device. This is what I was hoping when I got my iPhone because of the Logos app only to experience it's limitations due to cloud computing. Still love the iPhone for other reasons now and even own an iPad but the Logos App is mainly just a bible and book reader disguised as a Bible study app.

I own that other package as well as Logos. I too am excited about their iPad app and the way it will be used.
However, I would caution you in your comparison between the two. As it stands, you are comparing an app that doesn't even exist to what Logos has had out for quite a while.
In another thread in this forum, Bob has dropped hints that we would be VERY happy with version 2 of Logos for iPad in comparison with the projected functionality of the competitors app.
We will see...

It does look like Accordance will raise the game for iPhone apps - at least for offline use. But a new version of Olive Tree's BibleReader is also going to be available soon, and that might be better still. It's been great to see Logos improving their own app in recent months, but just as it seemed parity was within reach, the competitors are moving forward again.
But that said, Logos does still offer a lot that the other apps don't (and apparently won't). That's why I use both Olivetree and Logos on my iPhone.

Well over and over again Logos has told us there is no way to sync items and only items that Logos has permission to cloud will ever be available to the iPhone app. While I will not call Logos app useless but until I can put my Daily Study Bible on my phone it will always be a disappointment to me. I do not need some passage guide just a functional program that lets me use my files.

Tom, I know we may be violating the forum policy here but I would be interested to know what module/package of Accordance you use. They are very expensive and there is no way I could afford to gain what I already have with Logos but if I can at least get something that is stable for basic study purposes I could probably settle for less.

As I've said before, the cloud is completely irrelevant. The issue is purely one of licensing.
I agree that's it's frustrating that I can't access all my books, but when I bought my DSB, I bought and paid to use it on my PC. The same is true with all my other purchases over the years. The fact that I can use any of them on the iPhone is a bonus as far as I can see. And the fact that DSB is not available on any major mobile platform (and that the publishers even withdrew it from Logos) points to the short-sightedness of the publishers.
