Completing a collection?

Hi All,
A quick question, have you any experience of Logos offering a discount on completing collections if you've already bought some of the books from it?
I'm considering buying some of the PNTC books on the Christmas specials as I can't afford the set currently, but may eventually want the whole set anyway, so it would be daft to buy twice!
Im not particularly after a official answer or a guarantee they will, but more whether Logos will entertain the idea at all!

Logos will usually take into account what you already own. Your best bet is to call sales to see if they can discount a collection to which you already own some of the titles. However, it might be cheaper in the long run to just save up for the collection as the discount might be less than the purchase price of the on-sale books. The real question is will you need those books while saving up for the set?

Thanks for that, especially the last sentence! I'll have a think about whether I really need then now!

I'm wondering the same thing while considering Hebrews and Acts...when I moved up to Platinum, they not only included the original 8 volumes, but also Colossians/Philemon and 2 Peter/Jude. Similarly, they added new New American Commentary volumes in addition to the ones already included in Silver, and one more NIGTC volume (Matthew). If they do the same in the future, it will be somewhat akin to buying them twice, because I'm not sure the discount will be exactly equivalent to the purchase price of the additional volumes (i.e., just because I bought Hebrews + Acts during this sale for $57.50, will my discount be $57.50? Not sure)
Curious as to anyone else's thoughts. Same question for me - am I going to use these in between now and whenever the completed set is available?
