Can't apply different coupon codes to different items in shopping cart

A weakness of the purchasing system on the new website: If you are trying to buy different items that have different coupon codes associated with them for sale prices, you can't do that all in one transaction. As soon as you enter the second coupon code for the second item, it removes the first one from the first item. You have to run them through as two separate purchases. Coupon codes should be applied per item in the cart, not per total purchase.

The software should be sophisticated enough to know what coupon codes apply to what resources. So there should be a way just to enter all applicable coupons and have the software figure it all out. One coupon code limit now. Allow for more. Agreed.

Logos' caveat on the coupon codes for "12 Days" said you could apply up to 3 coupon codes in the field at one time, separated by commas. They admit it's not a perfect solution and multiple transactions are required if you exceed those constraints. But it's better than a single coupon per transaction.
