BUG Beta 3 High CPU with L4 running in the background doing nothing

Note there are 2 Logos 4 entries. The CPU has been running at 80+% for over 10 minute with L4 doing nothing in the background... please advise. In addition when I closed L4 Mac the first entry remained open. I had to use the activity monitor to force quit the app. Something is not right with this beta...

Restarted the program and now only 1 L4 app in the activity monitor running at normal CPU level.

I'm not seeing the same thing in 4.2a Beta 3. Can you include log files that were generated with the process running twice?

Sorry... too late to recover those.. I should have thought of it at the time. It was after one of the crashes that I did post logs for so perhaps that might lend a clue.

Depending on how the application crashed, it could leave a process running in the background consuming CPU cycles. That would prevent the app from shutting down and would give you two instances of the app running next time you started. Most likely, the CPU usage was related to the app crash, if I had to guess.

I agree, since it went away after a forced quit and restart. I will get logs if it happens again.. thanks
