Is there someway to use Visual Filter to find the subject of a Scripture or sentence?
Something as simple as this and comparing it to the sophisticated proposal that Logos is going to offer below
Logos asks, what do you wish you could search for, but can't?
I thought this could already be on board. Anyway Love Logos and and the fact that they are always trying to make our software better for us and I will take a course in the language that drives the searches or learn it however i can in order take advantage of this STATE OF THE ART searching tool.

I presume when you say "subject" you are talking about the grammatical concept not the theme of a passage.
If so, a Morph search would enable you to find "subjects" - typically this is shown as "Nominative" case using a search such as the one below:
The "@NN" finds nouns in the nominative case and the "@R??N" finds pronouns in the nominative case. For completeness, probably ought to include verbs as well for when there are verbs without explicit subjects. For more details on creating morphological searches see http://wiki.logos.com/Morphological_Search
You could then click on the "Make Filter" button which should produce what you want.

The Greek morph search for a Nominative can only approximate a subject search. While Nominatives are most frequently subjects there are occasions when they are not (e.g. When you have a verb of being and one is a Predicate Nominative, Accusatives can also function as subjects with infinitives)
Your best bet to find them would be a syntax search. However, the difficulty is that syntax searches cannot be transitioned to a Visual filters. Perhaps one day it could. Libronix was able to show highlighted English next to the original language search results. Perhaps they will bring that feature into Logos 4 one day.

This has been requested more times than I can count! I so wish we had this, for me it's pretty important for studying in the original languages as I am far from an expert...
