Suggestion: No sleep option
It would be nice to have an option that would keep the iPhone/iPad from going to sleep when Logos is open. Keeping the device awake while I'm in Bible Study or church is cumbersome as I have to tap the screen every few minutes to keep it from going to sleep and locking. I don't want to turn off sleep/lock completely on the device though because I want auto-lock to be the normal behavior more often than not.

I would love to see this too. From my experience it seems as though this behavior is partially implemented. Sometimes, my screen will stay on indefinitely while I have a book open and sometimes it sleeps. I haven't been able to figure out what causes it to sleep or not.

Well, I go to sleep, because I am tired...

On the iPad, can't you go into Settings and adjust how long it can sit idle before going to sleep?

Yes, settings has Auto-Lock - options: 2 minutes, 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 15 minutes, Never.

Yes, that setting is there on all ios devices. It doesn't really solve the problem though. What we desire is for Logos to override the device sleep settings and stay on while we are reading a book. This would allow me to keep a Bible open during a sermon without having to turn off Auto-Lock before and then back on after.

Yes, but...

Exactly. I want to keep my default behavior the way it is (short auto-sleep/auto-lock interval) and not have to change it anytime I want to use Logos during church/Sunday school. I have personal information and financial information on my iPhone and iPad and so it is important to me that it locks after a short period of time in case I walk away and leave the device on my desk at work or something. If I change the default on Sunday and then forget to change it back, that could be a costly mistake. Now, all my financial apps and SplashID are password protected, etc, but the point still stands that I don't want to have to change the default behavior back and forth as a workaround...it is a much better solution to integrate an override option into the Logos app.
