"The best commentary on the Greek text of Philippians is the magisterial work by Peter T. O’Brien (NIGTC; 1991, £39.99/$50.00). O’Brien has read and thought through everything of importance up to his date, with the result that he gives reasons for his exegetical decisions. At the same time, this commentary is theologically rich, even if its prose is sometimes pedestrian. The treatment of the so-called “Christ hymn” (2:5–11) is superb."

"The recent BNTC/HNTC commentary by Markus Bockmuehl (1997, £19.99/1998, $29.95) is very good. Bockmuehl has read everything relevant and is as comfortable in the Greco-Roman background as in the Jewish background. He is as able to wrestle with theological issues as with historical matters. His treatment of the “form” of God in the so-called “Christ hymn” is especially suggestive..."

Pillar by Hansen is too recent to be in Carson, however I would definitely not pass him up. The Pillar series has been outstanding.

I teach Philippians at a seminary, and our core text is Silva (BECNT - in Logos, but not on sale). I also highly recommend Bockmuehl, O'Brien and Thielman, and the previous lecturer and several students are a big fan of Fee. I've only just started getting into Hansen, but I like what I've read so far. None of the rest you listed particularly appealed to me. The ratings in my own library look like this (in my marking system 2 stars means "haven't read", not necessarily that they're poor):

From experience, if you can only get one get O'Brien. It is exhaustive, very scholarly, and yet retains the pastoral nature of the letter. P.T. O'Brien is quickly becoming my favorite commentator. I agree with D.A. Carson's assessment

Another vote for O'Brien here. I've read through it almost in entirety, and it provides tremendous insights into the text clause by clause, but also steps back and gives a bigger view of the passage it is contained in. I've used Fee, Silva, Bruce, and Hawthorne as well, and my next two choices would be Fee and Silva.

To get everything you need on Philippians get them in this order: 1) Pillar's, 2) NIGTC and 3) College Press NIV. I'm writing a commentary in Spanish on Philippians and those are my top three commentaries I'm using besides other resources. Philippians is one of my favorite letters from Paul because it's part of the so called "Prison Epistles." Prison and Pastoral Epistles are my favorite writings from Paul!

Reading Galatians, Philippians, and 1 Thessalonians by Cousar, Charles B.

This is a book from a series I always find useful because it works from common literaary and rhetorical approaches that the members of a Bible study group are apt to be familiar with (or understand quite quickly). It shouldn't be the only source as it lacks theological and linguistic depth but do consider it.
