linking article to bible text

is it possible to link a journakl article directly to a bible text so that in the future when i come to that verse i can directly go to the journal article.  so far all i seem to able to do is to create a note and in the verse place the link to both the article and the bible text.

You can create a note attached to the Bible verse and in the note put a link to the article. There is currently no more direct way to do it than that.
