This is a symptom of some of the other stuff I'm seeing - like clearing a layout when I click a reading plan. NO. Please don't do that, just open the resource in my current layout.

Hmm Sarcasm is my love language. Obviously I love you.

Agreed this is unacceptable behaviour by the software.  Clicking a link should not clear a layout without the user's consent (i.e. they have the abiltity to turn on or off this behaviour)

I had this happen to me the other day. I looked in Layouts and there was my layout just before I clicked on the Home Page. So that was an easy way back to where I was.

I'll agree with you in what I expected. But I don't see myself using the homepage beyond the beta testing period. I almost never used a home page in L3 either, and when I did I rarely found it helpful. I don't think most "power users," the ones who create complex layouts, are going to spend much time on the home page anyway.

Personally I'd much rather have an option for a reading plan on the command bar, or as a 'report' I could open.

I agree 100%. GOod thing is I can get back to where I was through the layouts menu. But the more I use this new "feature" the more I dislike it.

The more I use it, the less I use it.

It has turned me off the home page altogether.
