Logos/Libronix 3 issue with XP

Hello,
I'm trying to install my older Scholar's Silver Edition (2005) on my XP machine. I've run this on XP before without issue. However, when I ran the Libronix Update to get 3.0, I got a pop-up telling me something about line 18 not being moved and that Libronix may not function properly. After a restart, I found that to be true; I cannot use my software at all. is my only choice to reinstall Libronix and disable the update so I can at least use it? I cannot afford to spend money on a new suite of software, especially considering that this was $1,000 5 years ago. I'd hate to have to re-buy today's equivalent (read: I won't).
Please help! If I have to buy new software, I'll probably just go with Accordance on my Mac rather than risking having more Libronix issues.
Thanks,
Josh

Josh,
Don't lose heart. Take a look at this and see if it helps: http://www.logos.com/support/article/546
If you are still stuck then follow the directions to remove and re-download the new edition of Libronix here: http://www.logos.com/support/article/316
You won't need to spend again for the resources you purchased. You might, however want to check into an upgrade to Logos 4 and the new upgrades that are available right now at a discount. The Logos web site has more in formation, and a call to Sales will get you a price once they sort out what you already have.

Mark,
Thanks so much! The first solution worked perfectly! I think I will definitely look into the Mac version when it is time for me to upgrade. Do you know of any programs that offer discounts for those of us who are switching from Scholar's Silver 2 on Windows to Scholar's Silver 4 for Mac? I'd really hate to shell out another 800 dollars to have essentially what I have now as far as materials are concerned.
I can't wait to be rid of Windows once and for all.... :-)
Thanks again,
Josh

Josh, you do not have to re-buy your resources. If you upgrade to Logos 4 either on Windows or the Mac you will probably be best to pay for at least what is called the minimal crossgrade. Since you are two versions behind you will be best talking to Sales to discover what your lowest cost option would be.
Again, the resources you have now will work in Logos 4 either Mac or Windows. You don't have to spend for them again. Without buying some sort of upgrade, though, you'd miss out on a lot of the tools and functionality of Logos 4.
Give sales a call and see what they can do for you. It will cost you something to get all the tools and some of the newer resources (like the reverse interlinears) to use Logos 4, but that will be new stuff you are paying for not the old stuff you already have.
