Concur specs should be enough to run Logos 4; although some actions will still not be instantaneous (e.g. indexing library).
Observations: Mac Pro RAID Card not compatible with solid-state drives - can use high-performance 15,000-rpm SAS drives (not sold by Apple) => http://store.apple.com/us/product/MB845Z/A#overview

With 12 cores, anticipate indexing Logos library would be faster. For most Logos 4 usage, suspect one 3.33GHz 6-Core Intel Xeon “Nehalem” (or 3.2 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon “Nehalem”) would feel faster - would be interesting to benchmark and find out if hunch correct.
With memory over 4 GB, recommend switching to 64 bit kernel ? Forum http://community.logos.com/forums/p/15647/119413.aspx#119413 may be helpful.
By the way, Logos 4 currently restricted to 32 bit addressing so 32 GB RAM is bit much.
If had $ 18,316 to spend for Logos, personally would consider several less expensive computer configurations so could purchase more Logos resources:

Observation: 27" iMac with three SSD's in stripe set would be slower than Mac Pro's with four SSD's in stripe set; yet quite usable for Logos.
Personally have used 12 GB RAM running Logos 4 Mac and Logos 4 PC in Windows virtual machine along with several other applications - hence 16 GB RAM in my dream computer configurations above - practically 3 or 4 GB RAM should be adequate for Mac OS X and Logos 4.
At Consumer Electronics Show (CES) next week, anticipating Intel Sandy Bridge processor availability - dreaming of 27" iMac with 3.4 GHz Quad Core i7 (along with wondering about upgrade possibilities: e.g. RAID 0 stripe set with 3 SSD's -OR- 2 SSD's plus e-SATA connected large external storage).
