I want to use sentence diagrammer on a laptop without a mouse. Is it possible? How do you do it on a laptop?

Yes, it is possible, albeit it can be a little more difficult depending on your hardware. On my touchpad if I click on an object with one finger and while still holding down the button use another finger to move the cursor I can move whatever object I want. If this doesn't work for you, you might want to look at the settings for your mouse input devices. All else failing you could always get a mouse (wired or wireless) to use with your laptop.
