some shortcuts in shortcut bar now broken

I have never had this happen before, but now I have shortcuts in the shortcut bar that are not working. They simply show the name of shortcut on hover, but will not activate on click. The ones that work show the thumbnail image of the shortcut target. I don't know if this is due to an interruption in indexing on the last resource update of a few days ago or not.

Should I just re-make the shortcuts? Or, is there some command that needs to be run, like, "Magically restore shortcut behavior"? Smile

I don't know if this applies in your case, but I have made shortcuts on one computer and they didn't work in the second computer.

Okay, now I feel like an idiot. I finally figured it out.

I remember now that I renamed the layouts a few days ago I had renamed the very shortcuts that are not working-which means the target is gone.

Oh well, I should know better...[:$]

I have not had this occur, so all I can suggest is to re-create them. There is not, as you surmise, a magical command to restore them.
