Am I still required to have my resources on my C drive in this version? (I'd sure like to move them.)
I've had everything installed on my d drive since beta 5 but this does require a complete re-install of the applicaiton and forced the application to the second drive as well. Whether its now possible to leave the application in place on the c-drive and have only the resources move to another drive I don't know Mark. Someone else my have a better answer on that.

Thanks, Andrew. I haven't recalled hearing that these could be separated. I don't want to have to reinstall the whole thing. Hope someone can give the definitive answer.
Resources are installed relative to the program installation folder, which can be changed in Beta 5 and later. You need to uninstall (from Control Panel) and reinstall (from http://downloads.logos.com/LBS4/LDLS4Installer/Logos4Setup.exe) to change the install folder.
Dave Hooton has posted (can't find where right now) an ingenious scheme for saving all your resources. In short, move %LOCALAPPDATA%\Logos4\Data\...\ResourceManager\Resources to a temp folder before uninstalling. After reinstalling, enter "scan C:\ThatFolderPath" into the command bar to scan and import all your old resources without having to download them again.
Thanks Bradley.
Are we ever going to get to beta test having our resources on a drive other than the program drive?
Not for 4.0; the initial release will require resources to be installed on the same drive as the program itself.
Bradley,
I'm confused; I only have resources on my D drive but Logos 4 found and is using all of them though the app is on C drive.
Logos 4 can scan and import resources from any source (DVD, LDLS3 paths, internet, flash drive), but those resources are copied to a private cache located in the same folder where Logos 4 is installed. While Logos 4 may have originally found the resources on your drive, it made copies of them and is now using them from the C: drive. The copies are made so that Logos 4 can automatically manage them in the future, e.g., replace LBXLLS files with Logos 4 files (when they become available).

So does this mean that I can delete the D drive files?
Does this mean that I'll have dupe files from now on?
If I uninstall V3...will everything work correctly? (resource finding wise)
Yes, because it doesn't remove your L3 resource folder. Prefs and User Files are also preserved so it isn't a huge saving.
But if you decide to nuke & re-install L4 in future you can save the L4 Resource folder and avoid a lot of downloading. See http://community.logos.com/forums/p/2639/19878.aspx#19878 If you remember to do this (or keep a backup) you can completely remove all traces of L3.
Dave,
I found the folder you were referring to...I hadn't read the file path closely enough......thanks...
