can I install from Vista backup to Windows 7?
If I get a Windows 7 laptop, which my USB modem I use at home won't support, so I only have internet for windows 7 when in town, can I install my L4 resources from a backup made on my present laptop in Vista?

You should be able to do this (and if not, I'm certain others will chime in [:)]) You'll probably need to use method 1 on http://wiki.logos.com/Quick_Installation_onto_multiple_computers that's because you'll need to also update the license file to get new books onto the Win7 machine.
