Many Logos packages include the old public domain edition of Emil Schürer's monumental study The History of the Jewish people in the age of Jesus Christ. The translation was from the second of four editions of the original German work. Between 1973 and 1983, T. & T. Clark published a new English edition in 4 volumes that features a new translation as well as substantial content updates, corrections, and addtions in the light of more recent archeology, historical research, and new documents such as the Dead Sea Scrolls. The new edition was editied by Gema Vermes (well know for his translation of the Dead Sea Scrolls), Fergus Millar, and Martin Godman.

Numerous studies of Second Temple Judiasm that I have trudged my way through in the last few years give high praise the new edition and put it at the top of the list of suggested resources for such studies. I finally plunked a subtantial hunk of money for a set of all four volumes of the new edtion (long out of print), but ?I would even more like to have it in Logos form.
Has anyone ever suggested/requested the new edition in Logos before? Did the new edition ever become a pre-pub candidate? If yes, does anyone recall how well/poorly it faired? If not, can we please get it nominated? I would expect interest could be quite high given that it (the new edition, that is) is no longer in print.
