Problems Updating

I am running my Logos 4 program on a network that is running Small Business server 2003 with ISA Firewall and Kaspersky anti virus. My Logos 4 is not updating from my network but if I take it to someone elses house it updates everything, does anyone have any idea what could be the problem. Please Help

Basically it looks like the Microsoft ISA Firewall — which is designed, as standard for most business level firewalls, to control outgoing as well as incoming traffic — may be blocking your outbound connection to the Logos server.

Solution: get someone who manages the firewall to investigate and see what network ports are being used by Logos when it initiates an outbound connection and then get them to open access to that to your specific machine or the whole network. However, depending on the company, this may be difficult to organise for security reasons.

For example when I do a 'Update Now' command I see my computer making a connection to IP address 216.57.195.3. When I check that IP address I find that it belongs to a company called 'FiberCloud' with this address

the city of which looks familiar as it is where Logos is [:)]. 

Have a chat to the systems administrator on the network you are on with the ISA Firewall.
