I was just looking for other's opinions regarding the NIC Luke on prepub compared to the revised one that is in the set. I already have the set and was wondering if I need the one being released today.
IMHO I did not find Geldenhuys' commentary on Luke that helpful. I have it in my paper library and almost never referred to it. Green's is better. For study in Luke I usually use. . .
You do not need Geldenhuys if you already have Green's.

I've got plenty of upcoming prepubs and I am trying to decide what I "need" instead of "want."

As long as were on the topic - there are several other NIC prepubs coming up for release this month.
I plan on keeping the Ephesians and Colossians because I like FF Bruce, but I'm unsure about the others.
Any additional input would appreciated.

I have Leon Morris for 1 & 2 Thessalonians on order. I appreciate pretty much all he has written.

Have you been reading D.A. Carson's NTC survey? That's the same order he gives for best commentaries on Luke...LOL...[;)] Too bad I only own the first 2, but have others to compensate for the 3 & 4 which I believe suit my studies. Long live Logos!!!

No I haven't, but that's funny. I just put down the ones that I usually refer to--not really defining a particular order or preference.
