I would like to compare notes with others on this question. I am studying Ex 34:6. While seeking to identify the connotations and distinctions of each word, I was surprised to find that Swanson did not correlate raḥûm (compassionate) to σπλάγχνα and cognates (LN 25.49-52) or ḥannûn (gracious) with χάριτος (LN 25.89) while based on their TWOT definitions, there is definitely a semantic relationship, closer it seems than those Swanson suggests.
