With the Mac App Store out, seems like a great place to find Logos 4 especially additional books and resources…. Is it in the realm of possibility?
From an end user's stand point I hope not. Two reasons:
1) While the App Store is slick one thing the App Store (whether for iOS or Mac) hasn't been able to figure out is how to handle paid updates. This is fine for cheap $5 apps where a new version means buying a new app, but not with more expensive software. Software like Logos or Apple's Final Cut Suite where an update is a fraction of the cost of purchasing the app.
2) Apple's profit sharing split of 70/30 means Logos is either going to loose money, raise prices to cover that lost or sell 30% more by moving into the App Store. While technically Logos target audience is any Christian I bet the core of their customers are pastors. I don't know if this is a big enough market to off set their profit loss by moving into a new distribution channel. And a limited channel for their Mac app only and to Mac users running 10.6.6.

Then Logos will do fine. The software for Logos is free. The resources are what cost and those would be handled completely outside the app store. So the software and its updates are already available for free. My suggestion in the other thread is that Logos make available a bundle that includes the app and a few free resources - KJV, Strong's, etc, whatever they already have for the iOS app.

It should be noted that no one has to move to a new distribution channel. This would be an addition, not a replacement. Most of the apps on the app store now continue their old means of distribution. The update issue *could* be a hindrance, since Logos apps are self-updating, but I don't think that would be an issue.
