I would love to add a reference like book and page number from any book in my lirary to a list. Is that possible.

Clippings might work for you, but it doesn't sound like exactly what your looking for. The other option is to use favorites. Have you considered either of those choices.

Well, there's more than one way to do that, depending on what purpose you have in doing so. I can think of three ways to do that off the top of my head:

1. create a list inside a note file created for this purpose
2. use a clippings file to collect quotes, etc.
3. organize your references in favorites (by author, topic, etc.).

You can...

Just go to that particular reference at that particular page..

click the little book icon in the top left...choose copy as URL.

Have your Passage list open.

Choose "add" and you will see a place to paste a short cut and give it a name.
