Good question Eric! I'm sure there are more than a few people who have BDAG with or without being up to Platinum. Or maybe they have HALOT without BDAG. There should be an upgrade path in consideration of that.

Maybe I'll do that M-F before 1/21. Thanks! (I believe the answer, though, is "No." They aren't allowed to discount these two books w/o permission from the publisher, I believe.)

Based on what I bought this Xmas, and my pending pre-pub orders and community pricing orders, I should have a lifetime's worth of "get a deal if there's something else you are buying at the same time" credits with the folks at Logos. [:D]

I called sales and was told, as I expected, that Brill sets the price for HALOT. He also said he's heard that the print edition is probably going up in price. So I bought HALOT for the regular $159.95 since I know I'll eventually want it and don't want to wait until the next version of Logos to see if it's bundled in Platinum or whatever the new series will call the equivalent or upgrade. I forgot to ask if I could get a discount if I bought something else, but I don't want/need something else right now! [:D]

I wonder if they figure this on the number of sales. Everything is cheaper in quantity, which is why I suggested to make a package. Or maybe they get the discount from BAGD which might be more likely.

It's probably these add-on sales that makes up for the near giveaway value of a Scholar level package.
