indexing

I live in West Africa with slow internet connections. Can I expect the indexing to take several days?

Not the indexing which all happens on your own machine — but the downloads, depending on what package you bought, could be painful.
So if you have a decent machine then should not be an issue. Indexing, again depending on size of package you got, can take some time but there is no Internet access during it, it's all on your machine.
For the getting of the resources you might want to contact Logos Customer Services as they may be able to ship you a DVD to get the bulk of resources onto your computer. From the Logos product website:
IMPORTANT: All Logos 4 base packages including Original Languages Library are multi-platform and will work on PC and Mac (see the System Requirements for details). There isn’t a PC product and a separate Mac product. Both versions come on the same DVD-ROM or as part of the same download. You can also access nearly 300 resources on our iPhone Bible app and our iPad Bible app and on our web app at Biblia.com.

Logos offers resource DVD for those who do not have internet or download constraints => http://www.logos.com/product/8769/logos-bible-software-4-media-only (DVD does not include resources updated after DVD produced)
Wiki has Copy Logos 4 Resources to Mac OS X step 1 => http://wiki.logos.com/Quick_Installation_onto_Multiple_Macs#Copy_Logos_4_Resources_to_Mac_OS_X with 2 modifications for DVD:
* Step 1 is receiving Logos 4 Resource DVD
* Step 6 becomes insert DVD into drive then use command scan optical media

Indexing does not use internet, time to index depends on Logos library size and computer capabilities - indexing is disk and processor intensive (good idea to index while not using computer).
With slow internet, may want to change program settings "Use Internet" to off.

I have just installed Logos 4 Scholar Silver from the internet. I have already spent the approx. 4 hours downloading the resources (6GB). When it came to indexing, the blue icon came up in the upper right hand corner, and the bubble informed me it would take 8 hours to index. After only 3 hours the blue icon was gone.
HOWEVER, when a search is performed in Logos it informs me that the library is still being indexed and no resources are listed pertaining to the search.
I have 1 - restarted Logos. 2 - "Rebuild index" from the command bar. 3 - Searched high and low for a solution online.
What is going on??
