I'm not seeing the boxes in the NTSK on my system; the checkmarks are there. What version of Windows are you using?

I wonder if you're missing a font in Windows 7. When I copy and paste into Word, it is a symbol from the Dingbats subset of the MS Gothic font.
Do you have the half dark/half light circles in Eph 2:3, or are those boxes as well? They show up in Word as symbols from the Geographic Shapes subset.

Missing the contrast symbols as well- hadn't noticed that thought they were all check marks.
I updated my fonts but still having the issue.

FWIW, these symbols in NTSK appear correctly for me - running Windows 7.

I also copied into Word and the fonts show correctly- but not in L4. The font displays as MS Mincho for the symbols (checks and contrast).

Hi Whyndell
What "Default Font" do you have in Logos Program Settings?
I normally run with "Default" but if I change to "Arial" I get the check marks and contrast symbols as squares.

Thanks Graham- changed to default and now displays properly.
I usually use gentium- which seems strange since they, meaning symbols are not gentium font.
Maybe this is an untentional conflict?

I see them too in NTSK (see below, in the introductory material). I'm wondering if I'm missing a font. The book's text shows boxes but a popup shows a symbol.
[edit] I had originally searched for "NTSK" and did not notice the posts about default font. When I change L4 settings to default font, I get the symbols. Normally I use Georgia which I much prefer over whatever the L4 default is. I guess I have to make a decision whether to see the symbols or enjoy easier reading in the body text.
